Caddi is a Chrome extension that aggregates your shopping carts from supported e-commerce stores into a single view. This policy explains how the extension handles your data.

Data stored locally The following data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device:

• Cart items captured from supported store pages (product name, price, quantity, image)
• Your preferred currency setting
• Per-store currency override settings
• Cached exchange rates fetched from the public Frankfurter API
• The position and visibility state of the in-page overlay

This data is only used to display your cart information within the extension and is never shared with third parties.

Third-party requests Caddi makes one outbound network request: a periodic fetch to api.frankfurter.app to retrieve current currency exchange rates. No user data is included in this request.

Permissions Caddi requests the following browser permissions solely to provide its core functionality:

• storage – to save cart data and settings locally in your browser
• scripting – to inject scripts into supported store pages to read cart data
• activeTab – to detect which store you are currently browsing
• alarms – to refresh exchange rates periodically in the background
• Host permissions – to run on supported e-commerce store pages

Data sharing We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties.
